Teaching & Learning - Foundation Section

The students in Foundation are aged between 5 to 6 years. All classes are small in size, with 6 to 8 students in each group.

In Foundation the aim is to provide the BEST possible start to school life. Teachers work with families and preschools/intervention centres to ensure that the transition into school is a caring, happy and positive experience for all.

Students enjoy a variety of individual and group programs to develop their academic, social and personal skills. Foundation students are also supported by a range of additional programs tailored to cater for their individual needs.

These programs include:
• Language
• Gym Mix
• Music & Movement
• Individual and class Occupational Therapy
• Individual and class Speech Therapy
• Physiotherapy, and
• Ready, Steady, Go (Gross & Fine Motor Program).
