Teaching & Learning - Speech & Language

The role of the Speech Pathologist is to assess the speech and language skills of all new students and to prioritise their needs for therapy. Speech therapy is provided through individual sessions and group programmes. All first year Foundation students receive individual Speech Therapy sessions by one of our Speech Therapists, Wendy Hutchinson, Sarah Bowman or Eliza Zawsilak-Ciz.

Speech Pathologists liaise with classroom teachers, parents and other professionals regarding student needs and programs. This provides an integrated approach to supporting students.
